My Story

Where I Come From

I grew up in Pasadena and Altadena and went to school here. This area has always been home. After school I spent 13 years working as an orthopedic tech, working directly with patients, physicians, and insurance teams in a fast-moving clinical environment.

Along the way I started building internal tools in Python to automate workers compensation workflows. Nobody asked me to, I just saw problems that code could solve. That was the turning point.

I taught myself web development, built and launched MintyEmailTester.com, a production SaaS platform now serving over 500 users every month, and eventually started DG Web Agency to help local small businesses get online without the runaround.

The Mission

Why DG Web Agency

Most small business owners I talk to have the same story. They paid too much, waited too long, and ended up with a site they cannot update or a developer who stopped answering. I wanted to build something different.

Every client gets a custom site built from scratch. Every client gets a monthly phone call. Every client gets one person, me, who picks up the phone when something needs fixing. No tickets. No hold music. No waiting.

I started this agency because this is my community. The shops, the trades, the small businesses in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley deserve a real website and a real person behind it.

When I Am Not Writing Code

I am usually out on the trails in the San Gabriel Mountains, cycling around Pasadena, or finding a quiet spot to fish. I have lived here my whole life and I genuinely love this area. That is a big part of why I do this work. I want to help the businesses that make this community worth living in.
